Responses to the Path

On June 19, 2020, the original A Path Forward for Louisville document was submitted to the Mayor and Metro Council and released publically. Since then, some organizations and individuals have taken the time to submit formal responses to our document. As we receive them, we will post them in full here and incorporate specific responses to priorities throughout the site.

  • July 10, 2020 | JCPS Response

We received a response to the Path from JCPS Superintendent, Dr. Marty Polio. The education workgroup has begun to review this document and incorporate items into some priority areas.

  • July 24, 2020 | Response to meeting with Louisville Metro Government Officials

On July 9, 2020, signers of the Path document met virtually with the Mayor, Council President, and other members of the Louisville Metro Government. This document is a response and follow-up to our meeting. We are looking forward to movement on these critical issues.

  • July 27, 2020 | Bellarmine University Response

The President and Chief Diversity Officer of Bellarmine sent a letter to the group in response to our Path document. They have also asked for a follow-up meeting which we will attempt to arrange soon.
